Photo Digital Frames

Will one day the photo digital frames replace the old photo frames we mostly have now? As they come down in price and with more and more people using digital cameras it is very likely that they will. They can be a great solution to displaying your photos and look nice as well. You can find these photo digital frames in varies size and price. They can be found on key chains to hanging on the wall.

When you decide you would like to display your photo collection on one you may want to consider a few things. Probably the first thing that may come to mind is the size of the frame. Smaller frames will use a smaller resolution and the larger it is the higher your photo’s resolution will need to be. Most of the digital cameras on the market today do have a higher resolution and should work well with the larger frames.

Next you need to consider where you want to place the frame. Most of these photo digital frames have a cord to plug into an electrical outlet. You will need to keep this in mind when deciding on where you want to put it. While there are some battery operated ones the cost of batteries can get expensive. If you decide that you want to hang it on a wall check to see if it can be hung.

Most photo digital frames do not come with a lot of built in memory. You will need to supply the frame with a type of memory source such as a memory card, or an USB external drive. For convenience you may want to find one that works with your camera’s memory card.

Photo digital frames can come with some extras that you may also want. A remote control can come in handy for the types of frames you hang on a wall or at a distance. You also may want to have one that plays audio, which can be wonderful way to explain your photos as they are being displayed.

Kodak Easy Share W1020 Wireless Digital Frame

Kodak may have cut some corners on the build quality of the EasyShare W1020 Wireless Digital Frame, but it offers decent image quality, performance, and a strong feature set for the money.

Specs: Digital photo frame, TFT 10 in – Color, MP3, AVI, MOV, MPEG-1, MPEG-4

11.7 in x 1.3 in x 8.2 in, 2 lbs

………………..

Kodak OLED Wireless Frame

Kodak’s OLED Wireless Frame offers excellent image quality and features for a rather preposterous price.

Specs: Digital photo frame, AMOLED 7.6 in – Color, MP3, PCM, AVI, MOV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, Motion JPEG

8.3 in x 3.9 in x 5.9 in, 1.4 lbs

Kodak’s Wi-Fi-enabled EX-1011 offers the same strong feature set, good image quality, and online integration with the company’s free EasyShare Gallery online photo-sharing service as its highly rated 8-inch brother, the EX-811–but the EX-1011’s bigger screen size has more visual impact, especially in larger rooms.

Specs: Digital photo frame, TFT 10 in – Color, MP3, AVI, MOV, MPEG-1, MPEG-4

13 in x 9.5 in x 1.6 in

Kodak’s Wi-Fi-enabled EX-811
